My senior bunny developed a hormonal issue, stopped eating pellets and hay, and lost too much weight. The vet gave me EmerAid apple/banana. Similar products have alway been a horrible feeding battle but my bun LOVES the taste of EmerAid. After he gained enough, I now mix EmerAid with moistened kibble for maintenance feeding. He is back to eating hay and fresh foods, but wants his syringe 3 times a day. This wouldn’t be possible if he didn’t love the taste-I can’t imagine trying to force feed him 3 times a day a day for almost a year. He still has a hormonal issue but the EmerAid is keeping him healthy otherwise, with a beautiful coat, and good quality of life. Thank you for keeping my bunny alive and happy!
This is about Emeraid Herbivore with the apple-bananna flavor. We always keep some on hand.
My male chinchilla, Beau, did well with Emeraid when he developed gastric stasis, and he recovered quickly. He needed supportive feeding during his teens (a 12 ml syringe per day) to keep up his weight. He preferred Emeraid over what the veterinarian would provide. He lived to a few weeks short of his 17th birthday, and Emeraid helped him keep his weight. Almost all of our chinchillas have preferred Emeraid whenever they were sick.
Our guinea pigs have also done well with Emeraid whenever they were ill, helping them to grow healthy again. Most recently, our Covid guinea pig, Fezzik, stopped eating. He had some teeth over-growth and refused even vegetables and treats. He lost half a pound of his weight. He was reluctant to be hand fed, but we insisted. He eventually cooperated, and he preferred Emeraid over what the veterinarian provided. After two months, he is eating normally and is back to his normal weight. He also wants a single syringe of Emeraid a day for some reason, perhaps because he saw us give Beau a single syringe a day. However, Fezzik does not need it. It just makes him feel loved.
After Beau passed away, we donated his unopened bags of Emeraid to our veterinarian so that she could either use it in office or offer an alternative to other clients. She knew that our chinchillas had done very well on Emeraid, and now she knows that Fezzik also got well with it.
We will continue to use Emeraid when needed, and we will highly recommend it to anyone with an herbivore that becomes ill.
Your product saved our bearded dragon a few times over the past year. She was very sick and was losing weight, had surgery and still wasn’t eating. The protein shake was a life saver. We recently purchased a new bag to use to supplement her diet as she is a very picky eater, but she loves this and sucks on the syringe like a baby with a bottle. Thank you for having this available!

I am so thankful for an excellent option for nutritional intake for my bunnies. One of my bunnies was awaiting an eye surgery and she was in a lot of pain and wouldn’t eat anything except Emerson Sustain mint for 6 weeks! She refused hay (even alfalfa), pellets, and competitor brands. I would have syringe fed her but I didn’t have to because she ate this on her own!
Also, when my bunnies are getting over a GI stasis episode, Emeraid Sustain mint is so beloved by my bunnies that it is one of the first things they are willing to eat!
