Mallard Duck Recovers From Gunshot Wound

The following story about a mallard duck was shared with us by the Bird Center of Michigan.

When a mallard duck came to the Bird Center after suffering from a gunshot wound, she was unable to self-feed.

While she recovered from the wound and resulting toxicity she was fed EmerAid IC Omnivore three times a day. It was also how the bird received medication — by tube-feeding it along with the formula.
