Injured Green Turtle Recovers In Greece

The following story about a green turtle was submitted by Wildlife Vets International helping the Sea Turtle Protection Society in Greece.

Yum! Little Lilo the green turtle is being tube- fed at ΑΡΧΕΛΩΝ-Archelon, the Sea Turtle Protection Society of Greece.

It’s unusual to see a green turtle at Archelon, so our Turtle Team of Matt, Tania, and Kirsty were particularly pleased to be able to help her during their recent visit.

She came in with wounds on both sides of her head. The team were able to sort her out with subcutaneous fluids, analgesia, and specialized nutrition. She is now doing really well.
