Gull Collides With Car

The following story about a gull was shared with us by the Bird Center of Michigan.

A common and unfortunate injury that the Bird Center of Michigan sees happen to gulls are car-collisions. Sometimes the injuries are so severe that the only way to feed them is by gavaging them.

For this gull we used EmerAid’s IC Piscivore to keep him well-fed during recovery.

With the care, he was able to regain his ability to self-feed and stand. He eventually flew back into the wild.
