The following story about an American goldfinch was shared with us by Wild Nest Bird Rehab in Georgia.

We are a nonprofit, wildlife rehabilitation organization based in Decatur, Georgia. Our mission is to rehabilitate and release injured and/or orphaned wild birds.

This American goldfinch arrived to us with a split lower beak. The beak was able to be splinted, but the patient was unable to self-feed and needed to be on a liquid diet to keep pressure off of the injury.

We fed him with EmerAid IC Carnivore for several days. He was very enthusiastic about it and is now on the way to healing.

This is one of many examples of how the Emeraid IC products play a major role in our ability to treat wild birds who have difficulty with their normal diet while in rehab.
