The following story about an American black bear was shared with us by Gold Country Wildlife Rescue in California.

This 7- to 8-month-old American black bear was brought into our center on December 11, 2024, from Coloma, California. He was found severely emaciated and suffering from what appeared to be an awful skin infection.

We quickly started treatment and began supplementing him using EmerAid IC Carnivore three times a day. It actually ended up being his favorite food!

After weeks of intensive treatment, he remains in our care. We are hopeful. He came in a little under 20 pounds and now weighs well over 50 pounds in just a few short weeks!

We are so happy to be able to help him with the support of EmerAid.
