Canada Goose Recovers After Car Strike

This Canada goose was brought to our center after being hit by a car. Disoriented and unable to stand, he required tube-feeding of EmerAid IC Omnivore until he recovered from his head injury.

After about a week of tube-feeding, he was able to be weaned off and start eating on his own again.

He gradually began to move around more and we upgraded his enclosure. We eventually moved him to an outdoor waterfowl run, to reflect his increased mobility.

After about four weeks in our care, he was released back into the wild and honked at us as he went along his way.
