We received a fully mature red-tailed hawk. It had a full crop, but had been hit by a car, causing the crop to burst on impact. Additionally, it had a shoulder injury and burns on the skin surrounding the 1.5-inch hole created on impact.

The EmerAid Intensive Care Carnivore diet kept the patient going until it could withstand eating small chunks of mice. It is now going through physical therapy and exercising its wings in an aviary until it can be released!
