The lactating mother had been intentionally shot by the landowner. The three young cubs were discovered several days later in a den in poor condition.<\/p>\n<p>Malnourishment and dehydration were the greatest concerns. With carefully calculated re-introduction of fluids and calories through EmerAid Intensive Care Carnivore and replacement milk, the cubs gained strength.
