\"pangolin\"youngThe following story about a Temminck\u2019s pangolin was submitted by Johannesburg Wildlife Veterinary Hospital<\/a> in South Africa.<\/em><\/p>\n

A young, male Temminck’s pangolin was confiscated from illegal wildlife traders, along with an adult female (who we will introduce to you soon!). He is very young, and he should still be with his mother, learning to find his own ants, and starting to explore his surroundings on his own. He has been violently ripped away from this life, and we are trying to guide him as best we can.<\/p>\n

Initially he was very shy and he had a slow start, but now he is gaining momentum in his foraging outings and is progressing well under our care.<\/p>\n

Once he is of a sufficient weight, with help from EmerAid IC Carnivore<\/a>, he will be begin a slow release process in a private reserve where he will be monitored constantly to ensure his safety and integration into a new territory.<\/p>\n
