HDN Bites

Emeraid HDN Bites save time with less mess. Feeding HDN Bites is also less stressful for patients when compared to syringe feeding, which means less stress for staff.

1-inch diameter = 18 ml of syringe feeding

Step 1

  • Add 2 parts HDN to 1 part hot water
    HDN Bites Scoops
  • 2 scoops* of Emeraid HDN + 1 scoop water = Three will make three 1-inch (2.5 cm) HDN bites
  • Mix well

* Blue Scoop in Package = 1 tablespoon = 8.5g Emeraid IC HDN

Step 2

  • Roll into bite sizes appropriate for your patient
  • 1” diameter bite = 18 kcal/HDN bite
  • 1.5” diameter bite = 60 kcal/HDN bite

Step 3

  • Emeraid HDN Bites are highly palatable
  • Refrigerate extra HDN Bites up to 24 hours in re-sealable zipper storage bag
  • To reheat: simply place the sealed storage bag in hot water for 5-10 minutes, then feed
